Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Last Updated: August 1, 2026
Welcome to Greensboro Christmas Lights, operated by Tidewater Pro Wash LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (christmaslightsgreensboro.com) and the professional holiday lighting, greenery, and related installation services we provide.
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or hiring us to perform services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services Provided
Greensboro Christmas Lights provides all-inclusive, seasonal holiday lighting and decorative greenery installation services for residential and commercial properties. Our standard turn-key service includes:
Custom design and tailored layout planning.
Professional installation using commercial-grade LED materials and fasteners.
In-season service calls and maintenance (e.g., bulb/fuse replacements).
Post-holiday takedown and removal.
Off-season storage in our secure, climate-controlled facility.
2. Quotes, Estimates, & Deposits
Estimates: All quotes provided online, via phone, or in person are valid for 30 days from issuance unless otherwise specified.
Deposits & Scheduling: To secure your installation date, a deposit or approved authorization may be required at the time of booking. Installation slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If a deposit is made, you may request a refund within 3 days of the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable after 3 days.
Property Measurements: Initial quotes are calculated based on linear footage, roof structure, and tree wrap estimates. If actual property dimensions differ significantly upon site arrival, we reserve the right to adjust the final scope and pricing with client approval.
3. Ownership of Equipment & Materials
Leased Commercial Equipment: Unless explicitly sold to you under a custom purchase agreement, all lighting products, wires, clips, timers, extension cords, wreaths, and greenery remain the exclusive property of Greensboro Christmas Lights.
Off-Season Storage: The physical hardware is stored by us during the off-season. Clients pay for the service of design, installation, maintenance, removal, and storage each season.
4. Property Access & Worksite Conditions
Access: The client agrees to grant our crew access to the property (including driveways, yards, exterior electrical outlets, and rooflines) on the scheduled installation and removal dates.
Power Supply: The client is responsible for providing functional, dedicated exterior GFCI electrical outlets capable of handling the electrical load required for the display. We are not responsible for electrical issues originating from faulty property wiring, tripped breakers, or inadequate power supply.
Pre-Existing Property Damage: We conduct a pre-installation inspection. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to roofs, gutters, shingles, paint, siding, trees, or electrical circuits.
5. Maintenance & Service Calls
Maintenance Guarantee: We monitor and service our installations throughout the active holiday season (typically through December 31). If a bulb fails, a strand goes dark, or timer settings are altered due to weather, contact us immediately and our crew will perform a free service call—usually within 24–48 hours, weather permitting.
Concerning damage to wiring or materials from rodents such as rabbits, squirrels, etc. We will fix any damaged materials from rodents at no charge. However, if the rodents damage the materials again in the same area a 2nd, 3rd or 4th time, we may request a service fee of $100.
Vandalism & Severe Weather: Free maintenance does not cover damage caused by severe weather events (e.g., ice storms, tornadoes), animal interference, vandalism, or unauthorized third-party tampering with the display. Repair or replacement fees may apply in such instances.
6. Payment Terms & Cancellations
Payment: Final balances are due upon completion of the installation unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Cancellations: If you need to reschedule or cancel your installation, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled service date. Deposits for cancellations made within 48 hours of service may be non-refundable to cover scheduling and material prep costs.
7. Takedown & Off-Season Storage
Removal Schedule: Post-holiday removals begin in early January and continue through the end of the month, depending on weather conditions and crew routing.
Customer Presence: Clients do not need to be home during takedown as long as exterior power sources and property areas are accessible.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Greensboro Christmas Lights and its parent company, Tidewater Pro Wash LLC, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from service delays, weather disruptions, or power outages.
Our maximum total liability for any claim arising out of our services or website use shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in dispute.
9. SMS & Email Communications
By requesting a quote or submitting your contact details, you consent to receive transaction-related emails and SMS text messages regarding appointment confirmations, service updates, and billing notifications. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
